Mandala (1984) Score painted on a large sheet, patterns follow a cycle which players perform according to their seated position. Performed at Randolph St. Gallery, Chicago, IL.

Crystal Mass (1985) For 9 Singers, 3 drummers and glass bowl player. Performed at the Baha'i House of Worship, Wilmette, IL. Composed for Masters Thesis for Performance, Columbia College, Chicago, IL.

Mass of the Crimson Ark (1990) For 4 singers, 20 rock players and percussionist. Composed for 64 Beds Project for the Homeless at the Lawndale Art and Performance Center, Houston, TX.

THe HearTH (1991) For 3 performers and video. A domestic piece where a meal is prepared and cooked, the table set and burned on-stage, all sounds being processed live. DiverseWorks Artspace, Houston, TX. Vocal solo excerpt performed at The Texas Gallery, Houston, TX.

Daughters of Rejection (1991) For 2 performers and 2 musicians, marbles, plastic sheets, processed violin , drums and voice. Commerce Street Artist's Warehouse, Houston, TX.

Inanna (Ritual of Descent) (1992) As part of "Orpheus and Euridike" New Opera directed by Johannes Birringer. Northwestern University, Chicago.

Artem(Is) Rising (1993) Collaboration with 77 Hz video ensemble. An interactive performance and video incorporating text from the New York Times, Iran Times, The Bible and the Koran to form a feminist view of sexuality.Also uses the Body Chime infrared motion sensor to control synthesized sequences with partial randomness. The Kitchen, Experimental Intermedia Foundation and DCTV, NYC.

Scriptures (1993) With text from the Koran and the Iran Times this solo piece examines the paradox and politics of the Iranian chador (veil). Utilizes a surveillance camera over the body which is painted in an imaginary script. In collaboration with video artist Benton Bainbridge. The Marsh, San Francisco.

Private Eye/Public Hand (1993) Solo sonic performance piece/installation in collaboration with media artist Nancy Meli Walker featuring live surveillance video, the 'Body Chime' motion sensor, a walkway of hexagonally close-packed marbles, and samples of foreign languages. The Roulette, New York City; Cleveland State University; Franklin Furnace.

Dreaming the Page (1994) Solo performance in 3-part triology with text and vocal processing. Excerpts performed at P.S. 122, NYC; Cleveland Public Theater-Performance Art Festival; Hot House-Women's Jazz Festival., Chicago, IL; Knitting Factory, NYC; and DiverseWorks Artspace, Houston, TX.

Wak Auf (2001) a 30 minute composition in the structure of a 7 part "Instrumental" Cantata commissioned by the DownTown Ensemble, NYC. Performed at the Hudson Opera House, Hudson, NY; Deep Listening Space, Kingston, NY; and Greenwich House School of Music, NYC.
