About dice 3
The producers of dice3
welcome submissions from women composers from all over the
globe. Our mission is to create an alternative community for the creation
and dissemination of new music created by women. We encourage individuality,
innovation and experimentation in all genres of uncommercial music: vocal,
instrumental or electronic.
Our goal is to create a venue for women to explore new techniques and to continue to explore the medium of the internet as a place for dialogue, exchange and interaction.
The history of the dice Project:
The dice Project was initiated by Elise Kermani in 1993 as a series of performances and compact discs showcasing women composers from North America and abroad. The dice Project is produced by MiShinnah Productions with institutional support from the New York Foundation for the Arts, The Pauline Oliveros Foundation, Harvestworks, and the Electronic Music Foundation.
